The Indiana University Office of the Vice President for Regional Campuses (VPRC) convenes and supports IU’s five regional campuses to advance the state’s higher education goals and champion their collective mission: providing accessible, student-centered education, fostering impactful research, and delivering dedicated community service. By coordinating academic programming and aligning campus strengths, VPRC ensures a robust, educated workforce pipeline that directly addresses critical regional needs.
At the heart of this collaborative network is a commitment to experiential learning that transforms local communities. VPRC actively champions undergraduate research that bridges the classroom and the region, empowering students to tackle pressing local economic, social, and civic concerns. Through this collaborative leadership and strategic advocacy, the office enables each regional campus to serve as an indispensable anchor for regional prosperity, innovation, and statewide progress.
